I’m a parent and I understand how important it is to put children first, and how difficult it is to do that sometimes.

• I will look for practical and cost-effective solutions.
• I will do what I say I’m going to do.
• I will be responsive and  return phone calls and emails within 24 hours or let you know why I can’t
• I will try to listen for understanding.

My values

• I do this work because I have a deep commitment to changing the culture of conflict at the macro (professional) and micro (personal) levels.
• This means moving from a “zero-sum” stance (my gain is necessarily your loss, it’s about winning) to a “both and” stance (let’s explore ways in which both of our interests can be met, it’s about understanding ).
• At the professional level this means working with you to help you identify and change unhelpful patterns, and working with like-minded colleagues to change the culture of conflict in our society.
• At the personal level it means doing the same work I’m asking you to do – reflecting  on how I deal with conflict in unhelpful ways in my own life and working to change those patterns
